\u201cWhile there are more than 9 million Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses globally, over 21 million people attended the Memorial last year,\u201d Olusegun Eroyemi, spokesman for Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses, said in a statement, disclosing that JW are preparing for what will be the most significant day of the year.<\/p>\n
According to him, the memorial will include a Bible-based talk highlighting the importance of Jesus\u2019 death and its benefits for all mankind. He stated that the event, which lasts approximately one hour, is free and open to the public. \u201cWe warmly invite our local community to join us in reflecting on the profound significance of Jesus Christ\u2019s sacrifice.\u201d<\/p>\n
He stated that in the lead-up to the memorial, Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses will also host a special public talk titled \u201cCan Truth Be Found?\u201d on the weekend of April 5 and 6. According to him, the 30-minute Bible discourse will explore Jesus\u2019 teachings about truth in an era of widespread misinformation.<\/p>\n
According to him, one-hour discussion of a scriptural topic will take place, following the talk to encourage audience participation. He disclosed that throughout Lagos, Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses will be conducting a month-long invitation campaign to ensure as many residents as possible are aware of the events.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe purpose of this campaign is to extend a warm invitation to our neighbours. Anyone interested in learning more about Bible truths and showing appreciation for Jesus Christ\u2019s death and sacrifice is welcome to attend,\u201d Eroyemi stated.<\/p>\n
