Three-month old Lola was born with a heart defect. The calf was to undergo surgery but passed away during a preliminary scan. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">What makes this remarkable is that elephants have an amazing respect for their dead so when staff at the zoo brought a lifeless Lola back to the herd, they all fathered to pay respect.
