SIZO No. 1 IN THE REPUBLIC OF UDMURT (Izhevsk). The most “older” prisoners, 74-year-old Valery Knyazev and brother Talipov, were taken into custody in November 2025 after the verdict. IC No. 9 IN THE KRASNODAR (Khadyzhensk) TERRITORY. Alexander Davydenko, 33, was transferred to this colony in November 2025, when his 4-year sentence came into force. IC No. 31 IN PRIMORSKY KRAI (Chuguevka). Adam Swarichevsky, 62, has been disabled due to injury since 1987. IC No. 5 IN THE ALTAI (Rubtsovsk) TERRITORY. Anton Olshevsky, 38, is registered in the colony as a “person prone to extremism” and is serving his sentence in strict conditions of detention. His wife and father-in-law were also arrested: his father-in-law was sentenced to 6.5 years in a penal colony, and his wife to 2 years of hard labor. IC No.29 IN THE PERM REGION (PERM). The father of the little daughter, Yevgeny Stefanidin, became ill after the start of the criminal proceedings and received a disability group II. However, he was sent to a penal colony for 6 years. He has been in prison for 3 years, he has been working in the laundry. In December, Stefanidin had a long date with his wife and daughter. He impressed his wife as a cheerful person. The estimated release date is February 2031.
IC No. 2 IN THE LIPETSK REGION (LIPETSK). Alexey Dyadkin (pictured, second from right) has been in prison for almost 2000 days. In November, he had a long date with his wife, but after that he ended up in a detention center for 3 days due to a made-up rape. He suffers such back pain from time to time that he gets injections. He remains in prison until June 2026.
IC No. 2 IN THE LIPETSK REGION (LIPETSK). Nikolai Kupriyansky, who was sentenced to 4.5 years in a penal colony, is serving his sentence at the SUS. In December, he reported that he had been placed in a detention center for 20 days for violations he did not commit. Their barracks is warm, there is hot water and there are 16 people in total. He admits that emotionally it is not easy for him. The letters serve as a source of support. His prison term ends in July 2028.
As of January 1, 2025, 177 Jehovah’s Witnesses, including 13 women and 35 people over the age of 60, remain in penal colonies, pretrial detention centers and other institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
