The latest information I got from the Japan Branch on the earthquake and tsunami is as follows:

Relief teams in Morioka, Sendai, Koriyama are helping to provide food and blankets. Telephone lines still not working.

At this time, there are 2 confirmed dead, 4 are seriously injured, and 18 remain missing (which is down from 115 previously reported).

Three Kingdom Halls have been completely destroyed, and another three have sustained significant damage. A total of 80 homes have been completely destroyed, with another 124 having partial damage.
