We are deeply saddened to inform you that one of our dear sisters was killed in an attack that took place in Turku, Finland, on Friday, August 18, 2017. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends along with the friends and families of the other victims who were affected by this senseless act of violence. BREAKING NEWS | No Witnesses Hurt in Barcelona Terrorist Attack

On Thursday afternoon, August 17, 2017, a van drove into a crowd in Barcelona, killing at least 13 people. Thus far, the Spain branch reports that no brothers or sisters were among those affected. Local congregation elders have scheduled visits to encourage and comfort the brothers and remind them to be cautious and follow the instructions from the authorities.
